Dat is nou zo'n nummer waar ik altijd vrolijk van word. Wat een heerlijk nostalgisch gevoel brengt dat met zich mee.
In mijn gedachten zie ik de 'upperclass' die onbekommerd flaneert langs de boulevard, de dames in hun voluptueuze jurken, met hoeden en hun parasolletjes in de hand , de mannen in hun nette tenue, de stok zwierig in de aanslag.
Ik kan niet nalaten het uit volle borst mee te zingen, voor zover dat lukt.....  met al die tong brekende Engelse zinnetjes, en..... ik zou zelfs willen dat ik had leren tapdansen.....
